Wickes, Folkestone

Work on this new two-storey warehouse and retail unit for Wickes (part of the Travis Group) saw Nationwide Structures on site during the summer of 2013 in Folkestone building which, at the time, became the biggest Wickes store in Europe. Our brief on the 2257m2 building was to fabricate and erect the steel frame, incorporating a single span portal frame featuring a hipped roof along with a mono-pitch canopy placed on the gable end. The building is also complete with a mezzanine level and all hot rolled members were finished in a semi-gloss white paint.
