Storage King, Hounslow

This Storage King project in Hounslow featured a distinctive design as it incorporated steel being stepped back around one side of the building to create a curved effect, which catches the eye of the viewer as it is not the standard storage unit. What also makes this structure unique is the single-span roof that has a very slight slope that could be difficult to recognise at first glance, along with an adjoining sloped mono-pitch on a separate section of the roof. The interior holds three floors that do not cover the entire area and are not located on top of one another, creating a large space between the floor and roof. We were on site for 2 months in total and required two partial handovers.
