Drax Minor Works
Working within a live power station, this project proved a challenge for Nationwide Structures as our scope of works involved us being contracted to manufacture and install 4 individual support units at ground and first floor level inside an existing building which was part of a SKID scheme. Each unit was erected inside the power station and featured special durbar flooring and lifting beams between the ground and first floors. As you can see on the models, each unit was similar, most consisting of a staircase up to the next level or platform with lifting beams and the durbar flooring.
