Crompton Close – Basildon

We were contracted to the design, supply, fabrication and delivery of six retail units in Basildon, consisting of a Lok’N’Store and Lidl among others which were being built as part of a mixed use scheme. This included the supply and fix of metal decking along with the erection of the steel and each unit was primed with a single coat of light grey High Build Zinc Phosphate Primer to 75 microns and totalled 4674m2 overall. Every building was designed differently, for example Unit 6 featured a hipped single-span roof complete with a parapet around the perimeter, whereas units 1 and 2-5 were conjoined and displayed a sloping mono-pitch roof.
