Candlewick House

Candlewick House

This project was a renovation of an existing eleven storey building in the heart of London. The existing roof, 9th and 8th floors were demolished by others in readiness to take the wider floor plates provided by us. Due to the location, steel and plant was delivered and offloaded at the weekends when road closures were in place on Cannon Street. Erection took place during the week using a spider crane which worked from the existing 7th floor to erect the floor above and working from the 8th floor for Phase 2 to then complete the structure. Trimming steels to all the below existing level and a new mezzanine within the basement completed our scope of work.
